Arizona politics was rocked by a shocking audio recording obtained by DailyMail.com, which exposed an alleged attempt to bribe Republican Kari Lake into staying out of the Arizona Senate race.
The recording captured Jeff DeWit, chair of the Arizona Republican Party, offering Lake a deal to keep her out of politics for two years.
“I am getting a lot of questions about the bribery scandal & corruption in DC. I have decided to go LIVE on Rumble tonight at 8:00 ET (6:00 AZ time) to answer your questions,” said Lake on Wednesday.

In a conversation recorded in March last year, Jeff DeWit can be heard urging Kari Lake, a close ally of former President Donald Trump, to consider stepping back from politics.
“There are very powerful people who want to keep you out,” DeWit said in the conversation recorded last March.
DeWit, who believed that Trump would lose the election, claimed that powerful individuals wanted to prevent Lake from running.
He asked Lake to name her price for staying out of the political arena, suggesting the possibility of finding a company to put her on the payroll.

“So the ask I got today from back east was, “Is there any companies out there or something that could just put her on the payroll to keep her out?” DeWit asked.
Kari Lake, a prominent figure in Arizona politics, gained national attention through her association with Donald Trump and her appearance on Fox News.
