U.S. Sen. Rick Scott has renewed his call for failing President Joe Biden to resign.
In a new ad, released on social media on Monday, the Florida Republican said Biden “has destroyed America’s economy.”
Accordingly, he added, “It’s time to be honest with the American people. Joe Biden is unfit for office, and should resign.”
In the ad, Scott played a clip of Biden saying wrongly that the GOP senator is from Wisconsin. Biden, in the clip, then adds that Scott “has a problem.”
“I do have a problem,” Scott allowed. “And so does every American.”
“Biden is forcing America into a recession,” Scott added. He then hyped his “Rescue America” plan, an 11-point strategy that, Scott has said, will reverse the damage inflicted by Biden.

As The Free Press has reported, Scott’s plan has drawn criticism for a proposal to require the 47 percent of lower-income Americans who do not pay income taxes to have some, as Scott has said, “skin in the game.”
But his plan also includes ideas such as teaching school children patriotism; ending racial identification on government forms; “re-funding” and respecting the police; securing the border, including building the wall; stopping the creep of socialism; eliminating any federal program that can be done locally; stopping left-wing efforts to “rig” elections; protecting and defending families; fighting abortion and the gender fluidity movement; welcoming God into the public square, and putting America first.
This was not the first time Scott called on Biden to step down for his economic policies. That specifically includes inflation, for which Scott has repeatedly criticized Biden for several months.
Roughly a month ago, as Biden was set to unveil his plan to tackle inflation, which has failed spectacularly as price hikes rage on at 40-year highs, Scott noted, It’s simple. The most effective thing Joe Biden can do to solve the inflation crisis he created is resign. He’s the problem. Getting him out of office is a quick and easy solution.”
“Let’s be honest here,” Scott continued.
“Joe Biden is unwell. He’s unfit for office. He’s incoherent, incapacitated, and confused. He doesn’t know where he is half the time. He’s incapable of leading, and he’s incapable of carrying out his duties. Period.”
“Everyone knows it. No one is willing to say it. But we have to, for the sake of the country. Joe Biden can’t do the job,” Scott concluded.
