PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – A 57-year-old Seminole man has died after a single-vehicle crash that happened around 7:00 pm Sunday.
Troopers say the man was traveling in a Ford Ranger eastbound on Bay Pines Boulevard, west of Seahorse Drive, when the driver lost control.
The Ford Ranger collided with the median and was redirected across the roadway before traveling through a fence and striking a parked landscape truck.

Following the collision, the driver fled the scene on foot but was soon located unconscious by Pinellas County Deputies.
The Deputies rendered medical care, and the driver was transported to an area hospital where he later died.
