SEMINOLE, Fla. – A Seminole man was arrested Tuesday following an investigation into illegal online activity, facing charges for possessing child pornography and videos depicting sexual acts with animals, according to the Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC).
Juan Michael Contreras, 39, was taken into custody on April 15, 2025, after a months-long investigation by CAC detectives. The inquiry began on November 19, 2024, when authorities received information indicating that child pornography was being accessed and distributed over the internet.

Through what detectives described as “various investigative techniques,” Contreras was identified as the suspect allegedly involved in accessing the illicit materials.
According to the investigators, the evidence included images of a child estimated to be approximately six years old. Detectives also discovered videos showing adult men and women engaged in sexual intercourse with dogs.
During an interview with detectives on Tuesday, Contreras reportedly admitted to viewing the child pornography images and the videos involving bestiality.

Following the interview and admission, Contreras was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of Child Pornography and three counts of Sexual Activity with Animals. He was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
