Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis announced Tuesday the return of the Hope for the Holidays Toy Drive. This year marks the second time the initiative will bring holiday magic to foster families, Hope Florida participants, and families across the state facing tough times.
“Every child should get to experience the joy of opening a present on Christmas day,” said First Lady Casey DeSantis. “Our Hope Navigators work tirelessly to ensure that Floridians in need are connected to resources and on their path to self-sufficiency. Through the donations of individuals and the goodwill of communities, the Hope for the Holidays Toy Drive will go the extra mile to ensure a magical holiday season.”

The Hope for the Holidays Toy Drive can be accessed through this website, where individuals can purchase new and unwrapped toys to be sent directly to Hope Florida. These toys will be organized and distributed to nonprofits and families by Hope Florida throughout the month of December.
“Our Department works hard to support and uplift families year-round,” said Department of Children and Families Secretary Shevaun Harris. “We are appreciative of the First Lady’s commitment and dedication to meet the needs of our State’s vulnerable families. This initiative ensures that those parents and caregivers in need will be able to create special memories with their children this season.”
