A second Bud Light executive has apparently been booted out after conservatives criticized the company for a deep dive into wokeism by using transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney to promote the brand.
Breitbart News reported on Monday that Daniel Blake, who manages marketing for Anheuser-Busch’s mainstream brands, including Budweiser and Bud Light, was also taking a leave of absence following the backlash from the right.
The news about Blake comes just days after the company confirmed marketing Vice President Alissa Heinerscheid took a leave of absence, as The Free Press reported on Saturday.
She had said recently that “there will be no future for Bud Light” unless it chose to “evolve and elevate” from its past reputation and seek “inclusivity.”
Breitbart noted that neither executive went on leave voluntarily.
As The Free Press reported on Friday, Heinerscheid’s apparent answer to Bud Light’s supposed decline, which seemed to come as a surprise to other executives at Anheuser-Busch, was creating a can featuring Mulvaney, a biological man who identifies as a woman, and allowing Mulvaney to promote Bud Light during March Madness.

Protests from conservatives ensued, including calls for boycotting Bud Light.
Among them was Gov. DeSantis.
“Why do you want to drink Bud Light?” DeSantis told conservative journalist Benny Johnson last week.
“Honestly, that’s like them rubbing our faces in it. And it’s like these companies, if they never have any response, they’re just gonna keep doing it.”
One conservative who cheered Bud Light’s decision was commentator Matt Walsh, who said on Twitter recently, “The Bud Light executive who came up with the Dylan Mulvaney campaign is now gone from the company. I told you this boycott was working. We got actual results. A victory for Team Sanity.”
