Second Arrest Made In Fatal June Shooting In Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has made a second arrest in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in June.

On June 17th, 2024, deputies responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of Regents Park Drive and Bruce B Downs Boulevard. Upon arrival, they found 24-year-old Kyle Prisco with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Through investigative means, detectives identified 34-year-old Forrest Jackson as the shooter and 34-year-old Terrance Robinson as an accomplice in the murder.

Robinson was arrested in Ohio on July 3rd, 2024. Jackson was later located in Jamaica, deported to the U.S., and taken into custody on October 25th, 2024.

“This outcome was made possible through the dedication of our team and the strong partnership with the United States Marshals Service, Border Patrol, and Miami-Dade Police Department,” Sheriff Chad Chronister stated. “Together, we stand committed to protecting our communities and supporting those in need.”
