SARASOTA, Fla. – A school bus carrying 15 students was involved in a three-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Sarasota. The incident occurred at approximately 7:01 AM at the intersection of Beneva Road and Sarasota Square Boulevard.
According to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, the crash involved a school bus, a Honda Civic, and a Ford Escape. Preliminary investigations suggest that the Ford Escape and the Honda Civic collided, causing the Civic to slide into the side of the school bus, which was stopped at the intersection.
