Sarasota Police Looking For Witnesses In Overnight Shooting

SARASOTA, Fla. - The Sarasota Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened around 11 p.m. on Sunday in the 1900 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Way, Sarasota.

SARASOTA, Fla. – The Sarasota Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened around 11 p.m. on Sunday in the 1900 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Way, Sarasota.

According to police, one victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim’s name is being withheld due to Marsy’s Law.

Detectives are hoping to speak with any witnesses or anyone with information on this case.
