SARASOTA, Fla. – The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is currently assisting The Florida Highway Patrol on a crash involving a vehicle vs. motorcycle.
The rider of the motorcycle was transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
Bee Ridge Road, eastbound, at Sawyer Road were closed, but have since been reopened.
