HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A joint effort between the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of a suspect accused of orchestrating a widespread fraud operation that spanned multiple jurisdictions.

58-year-old Isaac Allen was apprehended on Friday, January 10th, following a months-long investigation. “This case is a testament to the power of collaboration and the dedication required to tackle complex investigations,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “The partnership between our Economic Crimes Section and the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office reflects our shared commitment to bringing justice to those who seek to exploit and defraud our communities. We will continue to work together to ensure accountability and safety for the residents we serve.”

Sarasota County Sheriff Kurt A. Hoffman echoed these sentiments, stating, “We are proud to have partnered with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office to bring this person to justice and prevent further victimization of our citizens. Criminals should know that they cannot escape justice by running from one jurisdiction to another.”
