RUSKIN, Fla. – A 53-year-old Ruskin man has died in a crash that happened around 5:10 pm on Monday, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers say the man was traveling northbound on US-41 when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle crossed the median, rotated into the northbound lanes, and entered the outside shoulder.
Once on the shoulder, the vehicle overturned over a guardrail and continued to a stop in the adjacent tree line, and the driver was ejected from the vehicle.
Transported to an area hospital, the man later died from injuries suffered during the crash.
