HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla – A Ruskin man was killed and two others injured in a crash that happened on Sunday around 7:50 p.m.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a Honda Civic was traveling northbound on the I-75 exit ramp to US-301 at a high rate of speed.
The driver, a 34-year-old Ruskin man, lost control of the vehicle, which rotated into the separator between the ramp and the mainline.

The vehicle struck two sign supports and was cut in two.
Transported to an area hospital, the driver later died from injuries suffered during the crash.
Two adult male passengers in the vehicle also suffered injuries and were both transported to area hospitals.
