There’s nothing quite as nice as flying home for the holidays. Family, friends, old places you used to go. Seeing familiar spots and faces.
On Delta, this Christmas weekend, things got out of control.
On a flight from Tampa to Atlanta, two passengers got into a disagreement over a man and his mask, and a woman ended up in FBI custody.
Police were called to Hartsfield-Jackson International airport reference to the unruly passenger, identified as Patricia Cornwall, and held Cornwell until the FBI placed her under arrest.
Delta said in a statement Sunday, “Flight 2790 from Tampa to Atlanta was met by law enforcement after an unruly customer disturbance during flight. Situations like these are rare for the vast majority of our customers and Delta has zero-tolerance for unruly behavior at our airports and aboard our aircraft.”
On Christmas Eve, a flight from Los Angeles to Memphis turned chaotic when two passengers got into a physical altercation with one man being “loud and drunk” and not wearing a mask on the flight.
It was reported that both men made it off of the plane and to the baggage claim area and weren’t arrested at the time.
