This phase of the project will implement a revised traffic configuration through the intersection. Northbound and southbound travel lanes on US 301 will be reduced and shifted to the west portion of the roadway to allow construction activities on the east side.
A detour route will be in effect for traffic affected by the Boyette Road closure.
Motorists will be required to utilize Bloomingdale Avenue, Bell Shoals Road, McMullen Road, and Rhodine Road to circumvent the work zone.
Additionally, alternative local roadways east of the intersection, including Providence Road, Riverview Drive, and Balm Riverview Road, may serve as supplementary routes for area residents.
