Republican presidential candidates have spent $105 million on TV advertisements in Iowa so far, with former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley leading the pack in spending for 2024.
The Iowa caucus is less than two weeks away, and Republican candidates are making their final push in the state despite former President Donald Trump leading the polls by more than 50%.
According to NBC News, Haley’s super PAC, SFA Fund Inc., spent $25 million last year, while Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis’ super PAC, Never Back Down, spent $17.6 million, and Trump’s super PAC, MAGA Inc., spent only $11.4 million.

The SFA Fund will also lead the way in ad spending for the next two weeks, spending nearly $3.3 million. Haley’s campaign also spent $1.3 million on television advertisements for the new year.
According to NBC News, Trump’s campaign has spent more than $950 million on ads that will air in Iowa over the next two weeks, with pro-DeSantis super PAC Fight Right close behind at $704 million.
Trump’s most recent ad, which aired in early December, emphasized Trump’s record in comparison to “bumbling” President Joe Biden.
Haley and DeSantis have released several advertisements that have largely focused on going after each other as the two have been vying for the second spot in the polls behind Trump.
According to RealClearPolitics, Haley is currently in third place with 16.1% and DeSantis is in second place with 18.6% in the early primary state.

Vivek Ramaswamy announced in December that his campaign would stop running televised ads ahead of the Iowa caucuses, calling the spending “idiotic” and promising to do something different.
Ramaswamy’s campaign previously stated that it would spend up to $8 million on advertising in Iowa and $4 million in New Hampshire.
