Some media outlets speculated this week that Fox News dumped its star host Tucker Carlson because of an ongoing hostile work environment lawsuit filed by a former producer of Carlson’s prime-time juggernaut broadcast.
Now, however, it appears the plaintiff never met Carlson.
On Wednesday, the conservative website The Spectator reported that a lawyer for the former producer, Abby Grossberg, confirmed that she “never actually met Tucker Carlson in person while working on his show.”
“Like many on the [“Tucker Carlson Tonight”] staff, Abby never met Tucker Carlson in person because he taped the show from his personal studios in Maine and Florida, and he did not visit Fox’s NY HQ during her time there,” said Kimberly Catala, a lawyer representing Grossberg.

The Spectator noted that the revelation “complicates” not only Grossberg’s lawsuit against Fox News, but also the narrative about why Fox fired Carlson.
To recap, Grossberg, who between July 2022 and March was the main staffer booking Carlson’s guests, claims that she was forced to endure “a hostile and sexist workplace environment,” which featured “bullying, antisemitic comments and sexism,” The Spectator noted.
In an interview this week, Grossberg said Carlson and Fox made her life “a living hell.”
But it was a long-distance hell.
Still, liberals can find sexual harassment and workplace hostility, even when the guy behind it is hundreds of miles away.

Grossberg’s lawyer told The Spectator that the harassment “was perpetrated at his [Carlson’s] direction by other employees who served as his ‘eyes’ and ‘ears.’”
“This is the extent of the suit’s allegations against Carlson,” The Spectator added.
At least the people who complain about volatile, vindictive, and victimizing Democrats, like Vice President Kamala Harris and California Rep. Katie Porter, have actually been in the room to endure their tirades.
