Whips Border Texas Biden Agents

Report: Mayorkas Knew Border Patrol Agents Had Not “Whipped” Migrants, Yet Said Nothing

Once again, proof emerges that the first people who deserved to be hauled before President Joe Biden’s “disinformation” board, if it had come to fruition, would have been those who work for him.

Once again, proof emerges that the first people who deserved to be hauled before President Joe Biden’s “disinformation” board, if it had come to fruition, would have been those who work for him.

At issue is a 13-month-old claim by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

Back in September 2021, news broke that Border Patrol agents mounted on horseback were “whipping” illegal immigrants from Haiti who were trying to cross into Del Rio, Texas.

The agents were universally condemned by liberals, including Biden. “It’s outrageous. I promise you, those people will pay,” he said as the news emerged. “There will be consequences. It’s an embarrassment. It’s beyond an embarrassment” — even though the photographer who took the pictures admitted he didn’t see the agents whip anyone.

As The Free Press reported, the agents were cleared of any wrongdoing — including that they didn’t even have whips.

On Wednesday, Fox News reported that their boss, Mayorkas, could have immediately defused the whole situation, but chose not to.

Instead, he lied by omission.

According to Fox, the conservative Heritage Foundation, through a Freedom of Information Act request, obtained email traffic of the administration’s internal discussion of the incident — in which Border Patrol agents were actually using reins to steer their horses, and not whips.

The exchange, Fox noted, revealed that “just hours after Biden made his inflammatory remarks to cameras, Marsha Espinosa, assistant secretary of DHS public affairs, emailed Mayorkas and cc’d other DHS leadership, alerting them to a news article that showed that the photographer who took the images did not see any whipping.”

“In the email, Espinosa highlighted the comments from the photographer where he directly says he did not witness any whipping. Two and a half hours after receiving that email, Mayorkas joined White House press secretary Jen Psaki at a White House press conference, where he continued to push the narrative,” Fox added.

Instead of telling the truth, as video of his press conference shows, Mayorkas said, “Our entire nation saw horrifying images that do not reflect who we are, who we aspire to be, or the integrity or values of our truly heroic personnel in the Department of Homeland Security.”

“We know that those images painfully conjured up the worst elements of our nation’s ongoing battle against systemic racism.”

“Let me be clear, the department does not tolerate any mistreatment of any migrant and will not tolerate any violation of its values, principles and ethics,” Mayorkas said.

Later in that same press conference, Mayorkas added, The images horrified us in terms of what they suggest and what they conjure up, in terms of not only our nation’s history but unfortunately the fact that that page of history has not been turned entirely.”

In response to the Heritage Foundation discovery, National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd told Fox News, “It clearly shows they are willing to lie to the American people for their self-interests. They withheld facts and anytime you withhold facts from the American people… you should step down from your job. Better men step down. This clearly shows they are not better men.”

Conservative commentator Stephen L. Miller added in a tweet, “Inexcusable. They knew the whipping migrants story was fake, but the admin governed by twitter went ahead with it anyway. How is this not impeachable?”
