Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis was accosted by a ranting left-wing gun-control advocate as he talked politics in Orlando with popular podcaster Dave Rubin.
As Rubin and DeSantis talked during the sold-out event at The Plaza Live on Thursday evening, a March for Our Lives organizer, Maxwell Alejandro Frost, rushed the stage and began streaming at DeSantis, according to The Blaze.
“Governor DeSantis, we’re losing 100 people a day due to gun violence,” Frost yelled. “Governor, we need you to take action on gun violence. “We need to take action.”
As the crowd’s boos cascaded on him, Frost, who is also a congressional candidate, continued yelling. “Floridians are dying. Floridians are dying,” he said. “Governor, Floridians are dying, we need help. We need help. We need action on gun violence!”
At one point, DeSantis responded, “Hey buddy, nobody wants to hear from you.”
Security escorted Frost from the scene as he continued to berate DeSantis.

As shown by former Democratic congressman Beto O’Rourke in Texas recently, this is how Democrats want to debate gun control: simply show up at public events and start yelling.
For his part, Rubin noted on Twitter, “He/him/his didn’t ask the governor anything. He/him/his bum rushed the stage at a sold-out event and started yelling.”
“The entire night was about freedom and liberty. Find something better to protest, perhaps. But either way, thanks for buying tickets!” he added.
The Blaze reported that the event was disrupted at least six times by unhinged leftists.
“They came. They screamed about a bunch of stuff that had nothing to do with the event and they were escorted out,” Rubin told The Blaze.
“Frankly, I think they just need better hobbies, and should look into moving to Seattle or San Francisco.”
