Beau Biden was a family man, former military officer, and attorney general for the state of Delaware. His credentials are a stark contrast to his scandal-plagued, ne’er-do-well brother, Hunter.
But now Beau’s name has a scandal attached to it.
The New York Post reported on Saturday that the Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children pulled in $3.9 million in 2020.
Yet that year the foundation doled out just $544,961 of its proceeds – or about 14 percent – on programs to prevent child abuse, which is its stated mission, the Post reported.
The Post did note that the charity spent almost $1 million total, much of which went to six-figure salaries for staffers the Post described as “Biden cronies.”
They include Patricia Dailey Lewis, the foundation director who also served as Delaware deputy attorney general under Beau Biden. In 2020, she pulled down $150,660, plus a $3,500 bonus.
The foundation also paid a hefty income to Joshua Alcorn, a Democratic political operative who worked as a consultant on campaigns for both Beau Biden and Joe Biden. He worked as the foundation’s COO and made $131,437 in 2020, according to the Post. He has since left the foundation.
Based on its expenditures, about 58 percent of the foundation’s expenditures actually went for its stated purpose.
Laurie Styron, the executive director of CharityWatch, a watchdog group analyzing nonprofits, told the Post that “top-rated” nonprofits typically spend at least 75 percent of their budgets on the programs they intend to help.
“A 58 percent program ratio does not reflect a high level of financial efficiency,” Styron told the Post.
In a December 2021 interview with Delaware Today, Lewis claimed, “Our main work is to provide education about child abuse, and we have worked to help educate more than 10,000 individuals.”
“As adults, we have a legal and moral obligation to stand up and speak out for the children who are being abused – they cannot speak for themselves,” she added.
“When there is an example of abuse occurring in an organization, our job is to be sure that it never happens again.”
Imagine how much more effective they could be if they actually devoted more resources to their purported cause.

These foundations are tax scams. They are holding pens for Democrat operatives. Academia, foundations, government posts, corporate boards, it’s an interlocking scam. Great work if you can get it.
