As might be expected, left-wing groups sympathetic to the terrorist group Hamas turned up on Ivy League campuses and those nearby in the wake of Hamas’ attacks over the weekend that killed more than 1,200 Jews, including 25 Americans.
Leftists at Harvard, Columbia, and New York University, among others, turned out en masse to blame Israel for the bloodshed and support the “liberation” of the Palestinians.
Yet one Sunshine State college got in on the act as well.
And Republican Rep. Byron Donalds was not happy.

In Tallahassee, the Students for a Democratic Society chapter at Florida State University protested in favor of Hamas on Wednesday. Their show of support for the terrorist organization and its atrocities against elderly Israelis, women, and children came after they advocated the group’s right to be free of an “apartheid” system.
“Celebrate Palestinian Resistance! Condemn Israeli Occupation, Aggression, and Genocide! On Oct 7th, the Palestinian resistance launched a brave assault, the al-Aqsa flood, onto the Zionist entity. Israel continues to steal, occupy, and illegally settle Palestinian land,” the SDS at FSU said on X, formerly Twitter.
“Palestinians are living under an apartheid system and illegal blockade imposed by Israel. They have justifiably fought this. In response to the just war of resistance, Israel has cut off electricity, food, and fuel from Gaza’s The barbarism of Israel must end!” the group added.
“SDS celebrates the Palestinian resistance and supports the al-Aqsa flood in their fight to end Israeli occupation, blockade, and war crimes. We demand an end to US aid to Israel and its genocidal project. It is right to rebel! Victory to the Palestinian resistance!”

Donalds, an FSU alum, called on the college to denounce the SDS and its actions.
“I fully expect FSU to denounce this pro-terrorist pathetic use of the First Amendment on the campus of my alma mater, @FloridaState,” the Naples Republican said on X.
“These silver-spooned snowflakes don’t represent the Garnet & Gold or the Red, White, & Blue. They represent the scum in our society.”
He also posted “STAND W/” in front of the Israeli flag emoji.
Those comments came after an earlier X post on Wednesday when Donalds slammed leftists for “the big lie.”
“The BIG LIE that many in the Democrat Party, the media, higher education, corporate America, and Hollywood keep saying is that Israel is living on ‘stolen land,’” Donalds wrote.
“This is a LIE and propaganda that Hamas is using to justify the barbaric killing of JEWS. I STAND WITH ISRAEL.” As of late Thursday, the Tampa Free Press could not locate on the
