HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Thirty-two years have passed since the mysterious disappearance of 18-year-old Bonnie Dages and her four-month-old son, Jeremy, but the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) remains steadfast in its commitment to finding answers. Today, the agency renewed its call for public assistance in the cold case that has haunted the Lithia community for decades.

Bonnie and Jeremy Dages were last seen on April 28, 1993, as they left their residence near the intersection of Boyette Road and Dorman Road in Lithia. Their intended destination was a Kash n’ Karry grocery store, located approximately nine miles away. Tragically, they never arrived home.

The following day, April 29, 1993, the pair were reported missing, launching an investigation that continues to this day. On April 30, 1993, a crucial piece of the puzzle emerged when Bonnie’s vehicle, a distinctive 1986 silver Dodge Caravan, was found abandoned in the parking lot of the Kash n’ Karry situated at the corner of Lithia Pinecrest Road and East Lumsden Road in Brandon.

The discovery of Bonnie’s vehicle in Brandon, miles from their Lithia home, has only deepened the mystery surrounding their disappearance. Investigators have pursued numerous leads over the years, but the whereabouts of the young mother and her infant son remain unknown.
