CNN host S.E. Cupp said she believed the press is giving Democratic Lt. Gov. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania a pass on multiple issues Wednesday.

“I feel like the media gives them a pass on because they like him more than Dr. Oz,” Cupp told “CNN Newsroom” co-host Poppy Harlow.

One thing the mainstream media isn’t talking about is when Democrat John Fetterman pulled a gun on an unarmed Black jogger.

At the time of the incident, Fetterman was the mayor of Braddock, a Pittsburgh suburb.

Fetterman served in the role for 13 years prior to being sworn in as Pennsylvania lieutenant governor in January 2019.

A political ad reminding the public of the incident says Fetterman “chased down an innocent unarmed Black man” while in his pickup truck and pulled a shotgun on the man.

The unarmed victim, Chris Miyares, said that Fetterman pointed the gun at his chest and was surrounded by six officers before being released. “There’s a mayor with a shotgun and six other cops surrounding me, what else could I do but this,” said Miyares as he puts his hands up.

The 30-second ad spot started airing Tuesday on networks including Black Entertainment Television (BET), the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), MSNBC, and ESPN, according to reports.
