Remains Found In St. Petersburg House Fire Identified As Missing Woman, Kelli Fisher

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The remains discovered in a house fire at 1720 Prescott St. S. on July 28th have been positively identified as those of Kelli Fisher, a 42-year-old woman reported missing from the neighboring residence.

Fisher was last seen on July 18th driving her aunt’s vehicle, which was later found abandoned in a vacant lot. Family members indicated that Fisher occasionally visited the house where the fire occurred.

The St. Petersburg Police Department and Pinellas County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Fisher’s identity on Wednesday evening, notifying her family of the tragic news.

The investigation into Fisher’s disappearance and the circumstances surrounding the fire remains ongoing and active.
