Reality Bites In Tennessee: ‘1,000-Lb. Sisters’ Star Trades Camel Feeding For Jail Time

Labor Day took a wild turn in Crockett County, Tennessee, when a camel bite incident at Safari Park turned into a drug bust. Deputies responding to the call got a whiff of something more than just animal feed coming from the guest’s vehicle.

Amy Slaton Halterman, of “1,000-Lb. Sisters” fame, found herself trading reality TV drama for real-life legal trouble. She and Brian Scott Lovvorn were arrested on charges of drug possession and two counts of child endangerment.

It seems the only wildlife encounter they’ll be having for a while is with the jailhouse cat.
