HUDSON, Fla. – Pasco County Fire Rescue crews responded to a rollover crash on U.S. Highway 19 near the intersection of Maryland Avenue in Hudson earlier Tuesday.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, they found a vehicle overturned with a driver trapped inside.
Firefighters immediately began the extrication process. These critical tools allowed the team to efficiently and safely free the trapped individual from the wreckage.

“Having these specialized tools helps us quickly respond to these critical incidents and ultimately, save lives,” said PCFR on X.
Both drivers involved in the collision were transported to a nearby hospital. One driver sustained serious injuries, while the condition of the other driver is currently unknown.
The Florida Highway Patrol is currently on scene and conducting an investigation into the cause of the crash.
