Precautionary Boil Water Notice Issued for Nine Eagles Rescinded

ODESSA, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Water Resources department today rescinded a precautionary boil water notice that affected the residents in the Nine Eagles neighborhood in Odessa.

The precautionary boil water notice that was issued on Jan. 30 for Hillsborough County’s potable water system that impacted residents in Odessa’s Nine Eagles neighborhood is no longer in effect for any resident or commercial business.

The notice was lifted today after bacteriological sampling showed the water meets quality standards.

Hillsborough County Water Resources issued the precautionary boil water notice on Saturday evening when a 10-inch water line broke near Nine Eagles Drive and Turnbury Oak Drive. The precautionary boil water notice impacted more than 600 customers in the Nine Eagles neighborhood who live north of the intersection of Nine Eagles Drive and Kings Mill Place.
