POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A man and woman were arrested in Davenport after being found in possession of stolen power tools and methamphetamine.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office began investigating a burglary and theft at the Ramada Inn on US 27 in Davenport on November 29th. Approximately $1,297 worth of power tools had been stolen from a renovation area within the hotel.

The investigation led deputies to 26-year-old Devvon Williams and 36-year-old Amanda Villanueva, who were staying at the hotel. Upon searching their room, deputies discovered the stolen power tools and methamphetamine.
Both Williams and Villanueva had existing warrants for their arrest. Williams was wanted for grand theft, while Villanueva faced charges for felony petit theft and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
In addition to their existing warrants, Williams was charged with:
- Providing a false identity to law enforcement
- Grand theft
- Burglary
- Possession of methamphetamines
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Dealing in stolen property

Villanueva was also charged with:
- Possession of methamphetamines
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Both individuals were arrested and booked into the Polk County Jail.
