Port Richey Woman Killed After Falling From Truck, Struck By Spring Hill Man’s Car

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 38-year-old woman from Port Richey was tragically killed in a crash early Thursday morning after falling out of a moving vehicle.

The incident occurred around 12:52 AM at the intersection of Ridge Road and Lemon Road. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Ford F-150 driven by a 34-year-old Port Richey man was traveling westbound on Ridge Road.

As the truck turned left onto Lemon Road, the female passenger fell out of the vehicle and into the path of an oncoming Kia K5 driven by a 21-year-old Spring Hill man.

The woman was struck by the Kia and suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Neither driver was injured in the crash.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances that led to the passenger falling out of the truck. No charges have been filed at this time.
