President Joe Biden’s approval rating slipped to 38% in a new survey.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll released Wednesday found that the president’s approval rating dropped from 40% in December.

Respondents listed the economy and immigration as growing concerns. Biden has been pushing a bipartisan Senate border deal that has struggled to get backing from Republican lawmakers.

A Bloomberg/Morning Consult poll also found Donald Trump leading Biden in seven swing states, though most voters in those states would not support him if he ended up convicted of a crime.

According to that poll, 51% said they better trust Trump to handle the southern border than 31% for Biden. This is even though some Republican lawmakers have expressed concern the current legislation may not be moving forward due to the influence of the former president.

The Reuters poll was conducted Jan. 26-28 among more than 1,000 adults. It carries a margin of error of 3.3%.
