BARTOW, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who stole a doorbell security camera from a local residence.

The theft occurred on Mays Court in the Gordon Heights neighborhood of Bartow. According to the Sheriff’s Office report, the suspect, described as a black female, approached the front porch of a home and removed the doorbell camera.  

At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a light-colored tube top dress, slide sandals with clear straps, and a large headband. She was reportedly seen using a white sedan.

Investigators are requesting that anyone who recognizes the individual or the vehicle or has any information pertinent to this case come forward.
