LAKELAND, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects who stole bottles of liquor from the same Publix liquor store on two separate occasions.

The first incident occurred on December 18, 2024. Surveillance video shows two individuals, two women, entering the store and selecting four bottles of liquor – one cognac and three tequilas – worth a total of $244.00. The suspects then concealed the bottles in their clothing and fled the store.

The second incident occurred on January 8, 2025. The same two suspects were captured on video again stealing liquor from the same Publix store. This time, one suspect wearing a dress with a gray hoodie over it, concealed a bottle of cognac inside her hoodie. The second suspect wore a white sweatshirt with blue and red sleeves and matching sweatpants.

The suspects are believed to be between the ages of 20 and 30 years old. They fled the scene in a gray Mazda SUV.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information about the suspects’ identities or whereabouts to contact Detective Green at 863-577-1600 or MGreen4@polksheriff.org.

Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Heartland Crime Stoppers by calling 1-888-400-TIPS (8477) or dialing **TIPS from a cell phone.

A reward of up to $3,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
