POINCIANA, Fla. – Joseph “Gary” Lanoue has been located and is safe, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
ORIGINIAL REPORT: The Polk County Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit has issued an urgent appeal to the public for assistance in locating 65-year-old Joseph “Gary” Lanoue, who has been classified as an endangered missing adult.
Lanoue was last seen on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at approximately 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Laurel Avenue and Pine Street in Poinciana. Authorities are concerned for his safety and well-being.

Joseph “Gary” Lanoue is described as a white male, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 140 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes. At the time he was last seen, Lanoue was wearing a beige jacket, blue jeans, and black shoes.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone who may have seen Lanoue or who has any information regarding his current whereabouts to please contact the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (863) 298-6200.
