POLK COUNTY, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is bringing back its highly anticipated Haunted Jail Tour for the last time! Get ready for a frightfully fun experience at the Lawrence W. Crow, Jr. building in Bartow, with this year’s theme, “Reign of Fear.”
For a $15 donation to the United Way of Central Florida, adults can brave the haunted tour. Children under 10 can join in for just $5. If the tour seems too intense for the little ones, PCSO members will be on hand to supervise them in a safe area while parents take the tour.
This family-friendly event also features a street carnival on Church Street, complete with arts & crafts booths, games, contests, bounce houses, and the crowd-pleasing “Dunk the Deputy” tank.
Food and drinks will be available from Newman BBQ Catering & Events and other vendors. Special thanks go to Sunbelt Rentals of Lakeland for providing lighting and Big E Collectables for the decorations.
The Haunted Jail Tour runs for four nights only:
- Friday & Saturday, October 18th & 19th
- Friday & Saturday, October 25th & 26th
Don’t miss this final chance to experience the Haunted Jail Tour!
