POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A tip from a concerned citizen led Polk County Sheriff’s deputies to the parking lot of a shopping center off Highway 192 in the Clermont area, where they discovered an Eldorado Bus operating as the “Cannibus Mobile Dispensary” (CMD).

The bus, adorned with marijuana leaves, advertised the illegal sale of marijuana without requiring a medical card, even offering the use of their own card for a fee.

Detectives found online ads for the “Cannibus,” falsely claiming to be “FL’s 1st Recreational Dispensary.” While medical marijuana is legal in Florida, recreational use is not.

The owners, Jimmy and Bianca Andrial, admitted to purchasing marijuana legally with Jimmy’s medical card, then repackaging it for resale, a clear violation of state law.

A search of the bus uncovered marijuana, drug paraphernalia, cocaine residue, and packaging materials. The Andrials, along with employee Daniel McCreary, were arrested. McCreary resisted arrest, while Jimmy Andrial threatened the detectives.

“I thank the concerned citizen who brought the ‘Cannibus’ to our attention. Our detectives easily discovered that this was not a legitimate medical cannabis dispensary and these drug-pushers were out-right selling marijuana to anyone who wanted to buy it. We arrested three suspects who all have prior criminal histories. Something tells me these folks might have been over sampling their own products,” said Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.

The investigation is ongoing, with detectives looking into the online aspect of the business and the suppliers of the marijuana and packaging materials.
