POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Lace up your running shoes and join the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) for their 11th annual Judd Jog 5K, set to take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025. This charity event aims to raise funds for the United Way of Central Florida.
Early registration is now open at www.JuddJog.org, offering participants the chance to secure a commemorative t-shirt by registering before April 1st. All registrants will also be entered into a raffle for exciting prizes.

The 5K, priced at $40 per participant, welcomes families and children of all ages. All participants will receive a medal, with additional awards presented to category winners.
Back by popular demand, the Sheriff’s Star Sprint, a shorter race for children aged 4 to 8, will also be featured with a $5 participation fee.
Event day check-in and on-site registration will begin at 7:00 AM at the PCSO Sheriff’s Operations Center, located at 1891 Jim Keene Blvd in Winter Haven. The 5K race will commence at 8:00 AM, with walkers also encouraged to participate.

The scenic, paved course will start near the front of the Sheriff’s Operations Center, wind around the Polk Public Safety Complex on Jim Keene Boulevard, loop around a picturesque lake, and conclude in a shaded area behind the Polk State College Center for Public Safety.
Attendees can also enjoy various activities hosted by PCSO, including K-9 demonstrations and meet-and-greets with specialty units. Sheriff Grady Judd will also be present at the event.
