Polk County Sheriff’s Deputy Involved In Crash With Semi Truck In Polk City

POLK CITY, FL – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) investigated a deputy-involved crash that occurred this morning, April 9, 2025, involving a PCSO marked unit and a semi-truck.

The crash took place on eastbound Deen Still Road, approximately half a mile east of SR 33, at around 5:15 a.m.

According to the PCSO, the patrol vehicle rolled over in the collision. The deputy was able to exit the vehicle and check on the driver of the semi-truck, who was reported to be uninjured.

The deputy involved in the crash was taken to Lakeland Regional Health to be evaluated for any potential injuries, although they were not reported to be significantly injured.

The patrol vehicle was towed from the scene, and the area is now clear.
