MULBERRY, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance from the public to identify a suspect involved in a burglary and theft that occurred in Mulberry earlier this month.

According to deputies, during the early morning hours of Tuesday, April 8th, 2025, shortly after 3:00 am, an unknown individual forcibly entered a van parked on Bailey Road. The suspect, whose actions were captured on video surveillance, proceeded to steal a Stihl gas cutoff saw from within the vehicle.  

The Sheriff’s Office shared footage of the suspect.

The investigation is ongoing under case number #25-14212.

Detectives are urging anyone who recognizes the suspect or has any information pertinent to this case to contact Detective Hannon at the Polk County Sheriff’s Office by calling 863-499-2400.
