Polk County Sheriff Seeking Car Burglary and Theft Suspect

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a car burglary and theft case which occurred in Polk City.

On Saturday, February 20th at about 1:30 PM, the victim’s rear window was smashed on her vehicle as it sat unoccupied at Freedom Park in Polk City.

A purse was stolen from the vehicle, and one of the stolen credit cards was later used at a store in Haines City and a store in Winter Haven.

The person using the card was captured on security video at one of the stores, and now detectives at the PCSO are hoping someone will recognize the person and share that information.
