POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Floyd Hintteon Green, Jr., 62, Winter Haven, has been found guilty of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine following a bench trial before United States District Judge Thomas P. Barber.
Green faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years and a maximum of life in federal prison. The date set for his sentencing hearing is December 7, 2023.
According to evidence presented at trial, Green was stopped by officers from the Winter Haven Police Department for an unlawful tint violation.
K-9 units notified their operators of the presence of narcotics during a search of Green’s vehicle. The officers seized a large utility bag containing approximately 437.2 grams of methamphetamine pure substance.

Green later admitted to being a drug dealer and selling the methamphetamine for approximately $2,600 per pound. He also acknowledged that he was aware the drug was present in the vehicle. Additionally, Green acknowledged to having served time in Florida State Prison for drug trafficking.
