POLK COUNTY, Fla.– The North Central Landfill and Transfer Station in Polk County will be closed on Labor Day, Monday, September 2nd, and will resume normal operations on Tuesday, September 3rd.
Residential waste collection services will also be affected by the holiday. Collection scheduled for Monday, September 2nd, will be delayed until Tuesday, September 3rd. This one-day delay will continue throughout the week, with Friday’s collection taking place on Saturday, September 7th.
