Polk County Sheriff Hosting Job Fair On Friday, September 16, 2022

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a job fair on Friday, September 16, 2022, starting at 9:00 a.m.

This event will take place at the Sheriff’s Operations Center located at 1891 Jim Keene Blvd. in Winter Haven.

“Our Human Resources representatives will be on-site to process your applications and answer your questions. All qualified applicants will receive a conditional offer of employment that same day,” said PCSO.

There are multiple positions available such as:

Dual Academy Recruits – candidates become certified in law enforcement and detention; Stipend $3,000 monthly (approximately 8 months)
Data Security Coordinator – starting salary: $58,057 plus excellent benefits
Telecommunicator – starting salary: $38,514 plus excellent benefits
IT Technical Analyst – starting salary: $41,342 plus excellent benefits
Computer Forensic Specialist – starting salary: $38,514 plus excellent benefits
Animal Control Enforcement Officers – starting salary: $31,592 plus excellent benefits
Detention Support Specialists – starting salary: $30,199 plus excellent benefits
Part-time Civilian positions – starting hourly wages: $10-$11.50
