LAKELAND, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two vehicle burglaries that occurred in Lakeland on January 31st, 2025. The burglaries took place in the early morning hours on Sutton Ridge Street.  

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the suspect initially rode past the two unlocked vehicles on a bicycle at 2:46 a.m. He then returned on foot at 3:04 a.m., opened the car doors, and stole a green Adidas backpack containing cash, credit cards, a passport, and a laptop.

The suspect was captured on surveillance video and appears to be wearing a hoodie and gloves.
