POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 20-year-old man wanted on several charges was apprehended by Polk County Sheriff’s deputies early Monday morning.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office apprehended 20-year-old Nicholas James Baggett of Bradley, ending a manhunt involving patrol deputies, K-9 units, and an aerial team.

Around 12:57 a.m., officers converged on Cain Street in Bradley, located about six miles south of Mulberry, to locate Baggett. His warrant listed offenses for burglary of a structure, two counts of grand theft of a motor vehicle, and five counts of burglary of conveyance.
Baggett was found sitting calmly on the front porch of a residence and was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Polk County Jail to face his outstanding charges.
