POLK COUNTY, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office successfully apprehended two individuals wanted on outstanding warrants in separate incidents this week.
Davenport Man Arrested for Multiple Charges, Including Probation Violation
Jacarie Dalequan Rhodes, 23, was arrested by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday evening, September 18th, 2024. Deputy Turner conducted a traffic stop on a black Mercedes G300 driven by Rhodes within Northeast Regional Park near Davenport.

During the stop, it was discovered that Rhodes was on active probation for a violent felony and had an outstanding warrant for grand theft of a motor vehicle from DeSoto County.
Rhodes was cited for traffic violations and subsequently arrested. He was transported to the Polk County Jail.
Auburndale Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrants
Early Thursday morning, September 19th, 34-year-old Christopher Hardimon of Auburndale was arrested by Polk County Sheriff’s deputies at the Lake Silver Boat ramp in Winter Haven.
Hardimon was wanted on two active Polk County warrants: violation of probation for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and felony domestic battery. Deputy Howard, aware of Hardimon’s location and potential to flee, coordinated with additional units to ensure a safe arrest.

As deputies moved in, Hardimon attempted to run but quickly surrendered after warnings from the K9 team. He was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Polk County Jail.
