POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A Polk County man with a lengthy criminal record was arrested Tuesday evening after deputies located him hiding in a Davenport residence.
32-year-old Reyes Hernandez Landeros, Jr. was wanted for violating his probation on a robbery charge. Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies initially attempted to locate Landeros at a Miller Landing Road address in Davenport around 7:15 PM, but he was not present.

Undeterred, deputies tracked Landeros to a residence on CR 547 North in Davenport. Upon entering the residence, deputies found Landeros exiting the bathroom and took him into custody without incident.
Landeros was transported to the Polk County Jail where he was booked on the outstanding warrant. This arrest adds to Landeros’ extensive criminal history, which includes previous charges for robbery, burglary, drug possession, and battery.
