POLK COUNTY, Fla. — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42-year-old Toccara McKenzie on Tuesday, December 3, following a five-vehicle crash on State Road 60 near Kid Ellis Road. While the crash resulted in no injuries, the incident led to McKenzie’s arrest due to two outstanding warrants.
At approximately 7:40 a.m., deputies responded to the multi-vehicle accident. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and no one required hospitalization. However, during the investigation, deputies discovered that McKenzie, one of the drivers involved in the crash, had two active arrest warrants.

The warrants included charges for failure to appear on a felony battery case and additional charges for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, felony criminal mischief, assault, and armed burglary.
Following the discovery, deputies arrested McKenzie and transported her to the Polk County Jail.
