OCALA, Fla. – Ocala Police Department officers brought holiday cheer to local drivers by turning routine traffic stops into moments of joy this Christmas season.
In a festive twist, officers stopped 20 drivers and initially explained the reasons for the traffic stops. But instead of issuing citations, they handed out $100 bills to the surprised recipients.
The funds were donated anonymously to the Ocala Police Department for this special holiday initiative.

“Our officers were thrilled to play Santa and spread some Christmas cheer this holiday season,” the department shared in a statement.
