LAKELAND, Fla. -The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is on the hunt for a suspect who made off with $290 worth of Pokemon cards from the Dollar General store on West Pipkin Road. The theft occurred on Saturday, August 16th, around 11:15 AM.
Surveillance footage shows the suspect, described as a white or Hispanic male in his late teens or early 20s, entering the store wearing a black backpack.

Later, employees discovered 65 empty Pokemon card packages in the bathroom trash can. Upon reviewing the video, they saw the suspect stuffing the cards into his backpack before heading to the restroom.
