POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 28-year-old Poinciana resident, Brandyn Carmoega, was arrested on September 6th by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office for an illegal dumping incident that occurred days earlier.
On August 29th, Carmoega allegedly drove a U-Haul truck onto private property off Deen Still Road in unincorporated Davenport and dumped a load of furniture, including dressers, a bed frame, a large video arcade game, and various boxes, into a citrus grove.

A Polk County Sheriff’s Office detective investigated and traced the dumped items back to a residence in the Highlands Reserve neighborhood of Davenport. Property management for the residence confirmed they had paid Carmoega $250 to haul the items to a thrift store.
The detective attempted to contact Carmoega, but he refused to cooperate. Later, Carmoega’s attorney informed the detective that Carmoega would meet at the PCSO Davenport substation, but he failed to appear.

On September 6th, Carmoega was apprehended during a traffic stop in the Davenport area and subsequently arrested.
He was booked into the Polk County Jail on charges of trespassing and illegal dumping.
